I am me, that’s all I can be. No more, no less, don’t second guess. I laugh, I love, I live, I cry and sometimes I wish that I would die. Somedays I’m a joke, others I’m not. Sometimes I’m in overdrive and I can’t stop. You may not like me sometimes, but that's okay. Because this is me and how I’ll stay.
You greeted me with a smile and a warm hug, just as I needed it. Yes, I was surprised. Just thankful we could strike things out.
You can’t wrap love in a box, but you can wrap a person in a hug.
